Project Manager - Civil Construction

As a Civil Construction Project Manager, you are responsible for leading infrastructure and site development projects from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant delivery. You provide overall project leadership by aligning field operations, subcontractors, engineers, and owners around shared goals for schedule, cost, quality, and performance. On a day‑to‑day basis, you manage the critical mechanics of project execution, including cost tracking and forecasting, schedule updates, subcontractor coordination, material and equipment procurement, RFIs and submittals, change management, and documentation. You work closely with superintendents and field teams to address site conditions, sequencing challenges, utility conflicts, and production impacts while ensuring compliance with plans, specifications, permits, and inspection requirements. Experienced Project Managers take on expanded responsibility by leading multiple phases or scopes of work, mentoring Assistant Project Managers and Project Engineers, supporting estimating and preconstruction activities, and managing more complex risk, cost, and schedule challenges. They contribute to improving project delivery processes, strengthening client relationships, and driving lessons‑learned initiatives across the organization.
