About this role

About the Role   As a Mid-Market Account Executive, you will be responsible for driving new business opportunities within mid-market prospects. You will position Teramind as the supplier of choice within your accounts. To meet and exceed your individual sales quota, you will drive the sales cycle to success. You will meet the client’s requirements and be responsible for collaborating with the relevant internal teams to deliver successful sales proposals.   The right candidate will possess excellent energy and a real desire to build business across a portfolio of accounts. They will have the ability to build effective relationships quickly and to find valuable business within each account immediately that can then be enhanced by leveraging internal resources. You are an expert at discovery and uncovering pain points, both known and latent and are seen by your customers as a trusted advisor. Candidates with current strong security contacts are encouraged to apply.     Key Responsibilities   • Collaborate with internal teams and work independently to build a strong pipeline and consistently meet or exceed individual sales quotas. • Identify new business opportunities while developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including executive-level decision-makers, within assigned accounts. • Network within client organizations to influence key decision-makers, typically at the C-level. • Serve as a Teramind ambassador, representing the company within strategic client accounts. • Clearly articulate and promote Teramind’s value proposition and services to establish yourself as a trusted advisor. • Develop comprehensive account plans, engagement strategies, and growth targets for each account in your portfolio. • Lead and coordinate cross-functional virtual teams to drive complex sales opportunities to close. • Take ownership of sales opportunities, providing accurate forecasting of business outcomes and timelines. • Manage proof-of-value deployments in collaboration with cross-functional teams to define success criteria and guide customers toward positive outcomes.     Required Qualifications   • Proven ability to build relationships and network across multiple levels within an organization, including C-suite executives • Strong understanding of security technologies and industry trends • Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills • Demonstrated ability to create and deliver compelling value propositions • Skilled at identifying and influencing key decision makers • Success in a quota-driven sales environment at the mid-market or enterprise level, with 4–6+ years of experience • Proven track record of sales success in the IT security industry (preferred) • Experience closing deals between $20K–$100K • Familiarity with formal sales methodologies (e.g., MEDDPICC) • Strong business acumen, professionalism, and leadership; takes ownership and drives results • Experience with HubSpot or similar CRM tools is a plus   Why Teramind? • Market Leader: We are a G2 Leader in 50+ categories, including Insider Threat Management and User Activity Monitoring. • AI Innovation: You will be selling the only platform in the market with Timmy Copilot, a Generative AI assistant that democratizes data for non-technical Mid-Market buyers,. • Massive TAM: The Insider Risk market is projected to reach $6B+ by 2032.
