2026 Summer Intern - Structural Drafter / Technician

Our employee‑owned, multi‑disciplined team is looking for a curious and motivated Structural Engineering Intern to join us in Bloomington for the summer. If you're currently enrolled in a two‑year Architectural Technology or Engineering Technology program and want hands‑on experience that goes beyond classroom exercises, this is a great place to grow. As part of our Facilities Engineering Structural team, you’ll work alongside designers, engineers, and architects on real projects for education, government, industrial, and mining facilities. You’ll help prepare drawings and construction documents in AutoCAD and Revit, support redline updates, and learn how structural design fits into the full project workflow. This internship gives you the chance to build technical skills, ask questions, collaborate with a supportive team, and see how your work contributes to projects across multiple industries. The ideal candidate would be available to work 40 hours per week with occasional overtime throughout the summer of 2026 from mid-May through mid-August.
