Landscaper / Facility Maintenance Technician

The qualified individual must be highly motivated with the skills to prioritize, perform, and communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment.  ERG is seeking a Landscaper/Facility Maintenance Technician to support grounds and facilities maintenance projects and ensure a safe, clean, and operational environment at the Naval Support Facility (NSF) Indian Head. This role will involve performing routine groundskeeping tasks like mowing, weed whacking, and snow removal, as well as facilities maintenance projects like painting, minor renovation, and light repair.  The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, experience with landscaping tools and equipment, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Additional skills in drywall, HVAC, plumbing, electrical work, or other trades are strongly preferred. This position is full-time at NSF Indian Head and the Stump Neck Annex. Indian Head, Maryland, is approximately 30 miles from Washington, D.C.; 25 miles from Alexandria, Virginia; and 60 miles from Fredericksburg, Virginia. Successful candidates will be assigned a day shift of either Tuesday through Saturday or Sunday through Thursday.
