About the role: Reporting to the Senior Engineering Supervisor – Short Range, the Mining Engineer is responsible for working as part of a team in support of developing and optimizing 2-week planning. This role involves all aspects of short-range planning including the following: Drill and blast planning Shovel scheduling Coal release planning Waste dump planning Pit Dewatering Lining up survey controls Checking as-built surveys to designs and documenting Grow with us. As a Mine Engineer or Engineer-in-Training (EIT), this is your opportunity to be part of the future of mining. Our sustainability strategy sets long-term goals to drive improved performance across our activities, including achieving net-zero emissions across our operations.    At EVR, you’ll develop over a 4-year program with rotations every 12 to 18 months, giving you the experience and exposure to build well-rounded skills to succeed in the industry. Reporting to the Senior Engineer Supervisor, Mining, a Mine Engineer or Mine EIT is responsible for working with a group of professionals to support the mining operations. To be successful, we are looking for someone with the ability to adapt to changing roles in a mining environment, who is a positive, motivated, and forward-thinking individual.
