About this role

We're looking for a Senior Account Executive to join our Sales team and own the full enterprise sales cycle, from first call to signed contract. You'll work with marketing leaders at mid-market and enterprise B2B companies to fix what's actually broken in their content operations.

You'll work closely with the AE team, BDRs, and our Marketing, Content, and RevOps teams to turn qualified pipeline into long-term partnerships. This role is ideal for a sales pro who's tired of pitching tools and ready to sell a real solution at the most disruptive moment B2B marketing has had in a decade.

What you'll do:

  • Run the full sales cycle from discovery through to closed-won

  • Lead consultative discovery, demo, and proposal calls with senior marketing buyers

  • Map Contentoo's AI agents and human experts onto each prospect's specific bottleneck

  • Negotiate and close contracts with urgency and professionalism

  • Build and maintain a clean pipeline through outbound and well-qualified inbound

  • Keep HubSpot up to date with current deal stages and next steps

  • Forecast cleanly to the Sales Lead with no surprises

  • Partner with BDRs on target accounts and shared intelligence

  • Feed insights from calls back to Marketing, Content, and Growth

  • Partner with Customer Success on strong handoffs and expansion signals

  • Contribute to deal reviews, win/loss analyses, and team learning

What you'll bring

  • 4+ years selling B2B SaaS or services into enterprise teams, ideally with โ‚ฌ30k+ ACVs

  • A track record of hitting or beating quota, and you can talk about how, not just that you did

  • Comfortable carrying the full pipeline yourself: prospecting, qualifying, closing

  • A consultative style. You ask better questions than the deck does

  • Sceptical of hype. You sell with substance, not slogans

  • Clean CRM hygiene and a clear forecast

  • Ambition to grow into a Sales Lead role in the next 18 to 24 months

  • You use AI in your daily life and are enthusiastic about experimenting with how to optimise your and your customers' day-to-day ways of working

A day in the life

You start the day at the AE stand-up, reviewing pipeline and aligning with the Sales Lead on this week's priorities. By 10am you're on a discovery call with a Head of Content at a German SaaS scale-up; by lunch you're debriefing with the BDR who booked it.

After lunch, you run a demo with a CMO who's already burned twice on AI tools and needs to be shown, not told. Later, you sit in on a Growth review and feed back what's landing in calls so the team can sharpen next quarter's campaigns.

Before wrapping up, you announce a Closed Won in #wins, run a quick retro on a deal that slipped, and join the team on the rooftop for a cold one.
