Structural Engineering I

The Structural Engineering I position, located in our headquarters office in downtown Chicago, plays a key role in supporting the planning, design, and analysis of structural systems for a variety of projects, including buildings, infrastructure, and other complex structures. Working under the mentorship and guidance of senior engineers, this role provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience across multiple phases of structural engineering projects.   Responsibilities include assisting with field inspections, collecting and analyzing data, preparing detailed reports and documentation, and contributing to the design and analysis of structural systems. The Structural Engineer I will also support the preparation of design calculations, drawings, and technical specifications, ensuring compliance with applicable codes and standards. In addition, this role provides construction engineering support to contractors, helping to troubleshoot issues that arise during project execution and ensuring that design intent is achieved in the field.   The Structural Engineer will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams across the company, gaining exposure to diverse projects and contributing to innovative solutions that enhance safety, functionality, and sustainability.
