Electronics Technician (202606)

PURVIS Systems is seeking a motivated Electronics Technician to support assembly, testing, configuration, and repair of our Fire Station Alerting Systems.  The ideal candidate enjoys hands-on technical work, has strong attention to detail, and is eager to learn and grow within a manufacturing and technology environment.  This position requires strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills, a commitment to quality and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. The Electronics Technician assembles finished products using subassemblies, parts and fasteners. Responsibilities include fabricating and assembling cable harnesses, wiring electrical chassis and enclosures, performing subsystem checkouts and configuration, and assisting with product testing and quality assurance activities.  The role also includes basic system setup and configuration, including working with IP-based devices and network settings.  The Electronic Technician will assist the production team with packing and preparing outgoing hardware systems for shipment. Experience with component-level troubleshooting and repair, including soldering on surface-mounted circuit boards is consider a plus.
