Job Description
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, lighting systems, and control panels.
- Perform cable laying, glanding, termination, and testing activities.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, single-line diagrams, and technical specifications.
- Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance for electrical systems and equipment.
- Troubleshoot electrical faults in motors, MCC panels, DBs, transformers, and related systems.
- Ensure all electrical works are completed as per project requirements and safety standards.
- Conduct insulation resistance tests, continuity tests, and other electrical checks.
- Assist during commissioning and pre-commissioning activities.
- Follow permit-to-work (PTW) procedures and comply with HSE regulations at site.
- Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, and other trades for smooth execution of work.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
- Report daily work progress and any site issues to the supervisor.
Qualifications
- ITI / Diploma in Electrical or relevant trade certification.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience as an Electrician in Oil & Gas, EPC, refinery, petrochemical, or industrial projects.
- Knowledge of industrial electrical systems and equipment.
- Experience in cable termination, panel wiring, and electrical maintenance.
- Familiarity with safety procedures and electrical standards.
- Ability to read electrical drawings and schematics.
