As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be responsible for product assurance (PA) activities throughout the entire lifecycle of space systems, including satellites, onboard equipment, and ground facilities.
You will work as a project QA member, contributing to the realization of high reliability and high quality through the following activities.

• Plan and execute PA activities in accordance with the Product Assurance Plan (PA-Plan) of each project
• Identify, assess, and mitigate product quality risks in design, manufacturing, testing, and operations
• Perform incoming inspection and verification of procured and outsourced items to ensure compliance with specifications and quality requirements
• Conduct supplier quality management, including evaluation, auditing, and technical guidance
• Handle quality nonconformities and anomalies, including root cause analysis, corrective/preventive actions, and documentation
• Ensure compliance with requirements for reliability, safety, and traceability
• Carry out activities under JIS Q 9100-compliant QMS, and drive continuous improvement through the PDCA cycle.

• Minimum 3 years of experience in product or system quality assurance in the aerospace, automotive, or related industries
• Hands-on experience with the entire product lifecycle: from design, manufacturing, testing, and shipping to operation
• Strong understanding of system development, quality assurance, manufacturing, and operations, and ability to explain them logically and systematically
• Ability to solve problems through structured thinking and hypothesis-testing, even in uncertain or ambiguous situations
• Clear and logical communication skills, with the ability to consider multiple perspectives
• Strong execution and leadership skills, with a proactive mindset and ownership to plan, act, and drive continuous improvement
• Ability to read and write technical documents and communicate effectively in English (TOEIC 700+ or equivalent).
• Japanese language proficiency sufficient for everyday business communication (equivalent to JLPT N2–N3). 

• More than 3 years of experience in product assurance in the space industry, particularly in equipment or ground system development 
• Experience as a project QA in satellite programs 
  
• Experience in incoming inspection and supplier quality management, including verification of procured and outsourced items against technical specifications and quality requirements
  
• Technical communication and coordination experience with overseas customers and suppliers 
  
• Ability to identify and address fundamental quality issues across the project 
  
• Balanced personality capable of constructive engagement and consensus-building even under pressure 
  
• Strong willingness to learn, with the ability to stay updated and apply new technologies and processes autonomously 
  
• Ability to organically leverage one’s own experience and apply it to QA activities.
  
  

＜職務内容/役割・責任＞

宇宙機システム（衛星、搭載機器、地上設備等）の設計・製造・試験・出荷・軌道上運用における製品品質保証（Product Assurance）業務を担当する。 

プロジェクトQAとしてプロジェクトに参画し、以下の活動を通じて宇宙機の高信頼性・高品質を実現する。 

• プロジェクト毎の製品保証計画（PA-Plan）に基づく品質保証活動の企画・実行
• 設計・製造・試験・運用における製品品質リスクの特定・評価・対策立案
• 購入品および外注品の受入検査を実施し、仕様および品質要求への適合性確認
• サプライヤ評価・監査・指導を含む供給者品質管理
• 品質不具合・異常発生時の是正・予防処置対応および記録管理
• 信頼性・安全性・トレーサビリティ要求への対応
• JIS Q 9100準拠のQMS下での業務遂行・継続的改善活動（PDCA）
  
  

<必須条件>

• 宇宙、航空、または自動車業界における製品品質保証またはシステム品質保証の実務経験（3年以上）
• 設計〜製造〜試験〜出荷〜運用のライフサイクル全体に関わる品質管理経験
• システム開発、品質保証、製造、運用に関する専門知識を有し、それらを体系的に理解・説明できる能力
• 不確実性のある状況や課題に対して、構造的な思考や仮説構築・検証によって柔軟に対応する問題解決力
• 論点を簡潔かつ論理的に説明するコミュニケーション力と、相手の立場にも配慮できる対話スキル
• チームメンバーと連携し、自ら計画・実行・改善を進め、最後までやり切る推進力・実行力
• 英語による技術文書の読解、メール対応、基本的な会話力
• 日常業務に支障がない日本語レベル（日本語検定N2、N3相当） 

<望ましい条件> 

• 宇宙業界におけるプロジェクトQA経験、または搭載機器・地上設備の製品保証実務経験（3年以上）
• 海外顧客・海外サプライヤとの技術的ディスカッション・調整経験
• 購入品・外注品の受入検査および供給者品質管理（SQA）に関する実務経験（技術仕様書および品質要求への適合性確認を含む）
• プロジェクト全体の品質課題に対して、問題の本質を捉える力
• 困難な状況でも前向きにチームと対話し、建設的に合意形成できる人格的なバランス
• 継続的学習への意欲が高く、新しい技術や制度に対して自律的にキャッチアップし実務へ反映できる力
  
• 自分の経験を有機的に業務へ活かせる応用性
