Job Description

We are looking for a Finance Lead to oversee end-to-end finance and accounting operations, ensure accurate financial reporting, manage statutory compliance, and drive budgeting, MIS, treasury, payroll, and cost control initiatives. The role plays a critical part in maintaining financial accuracy, strengthening internal controls, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting strategic business decisions through timely reporting and financial insights.

Job Responsibilities:

• Drive financial controllership initiatives, strengthening governance, risk management, and internal control frameworks.
• Oversee day-to-day finance and accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, and cash management.
• Lead and mentor the finance team to ensure accuracy, accountability, timely delivery and cost control initiatives
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with Ind AS, Indian GAAP, and company policies.
• Budgeting, forecasting, MIS, and variance analysis, and present insights to management.
• Ensure compliance with Indian statutory requirements, including GST, TDS, Income Tax, Companies Act, ROC filings, and audit regulations.
• Coordinate with statutory auditors, internal auditors, tax consultants, and government authorities for filings and assessments.
• Maintain strong internal controls, accounting policies, and process improvements to safeguard assets and improve efficiency.
• Manage cash flow and treasury activities.
• Support group reporting, consolidation, and head office reporting where applicable.
• Manage key stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and alignment on financial matters.
• Closing, Reporting, MIS, and preparation of ad hoc reports as per requirement
• Manage Payroll
• Payment collection
• Ensure all transactions comply with company policies.
• Lead, mentor, and manage the finance team, fostering a high-performance and collaborative work environment.

Eligibility Criteria:

· Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA), preferably with experience in CA firms

· 5–7 years of relevant experience in finance and accounting

· Strong knowledge of Indian accounting standards, taxation, and statutory compliance

· Experience in MIS reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis

· Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills

· Proficiency in ERP/accounting systems and Microsoft Excel
