The Design & Strategy function provides programmatic leadership in the areas of evolving the Community™ platform, advice and approaches to Human Resources policy development, as well as the definition of strategies in engaging with Birches Group client groups and stakeholders. The Account Management Assistant plays a critical support role within the IO-Bilateral Engagement function, executing a range of services to ensure seamless coordination and reliable documentation in the management of Birches Group’s client portfolios in the IO sector. The role engages with the account management team, client services team, and other internal teams to ensure services are consistently delivered throughout the client lifecycle. Additionally, the position is responsible for maintaining high-quality account records, facilitating clear and timely client communications, and enabling Account Managers to deliver consistent, high-standard service and relationship outcomes
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Review client, account, and sales information/data throughout the account management process including onboarding, servicing, renewals, and sales completion to support seamless service delivery.
- Compile and maintain documentation impacting the execution of business development transactions to include invoicing, contracting, and renewal activities.
- Summarize account-related documentation or service issues to support the improvement of service delivery processes and internal decision-making.
- Inform internal stakeholders on the status of client accounts, service requests, and sales activities to ensure alignment, responsiveness, and awareness of operational issues affecting delivery.
- Communicate with client teams to obtain required documentation and information supporting unit activities and update teams on key developments across client accounts and program areas to sustain operational awareness.
- Communicate and notify clients of service delivery details, account activities, and process requirements to ensure that initiatives, proposals, and other client management activities are delivered according to standards.
- Process and sequence deliverables to effectively support onboarding, account servicing, renewals, and service delivery in line with Birches Group’s standards.
- Consolidate, maintain, and regularly update client and account data within internal systems, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and data integrity across the client lifecycle.
- Validate client, account, and sales information to ensure compliance with established policies, procedures, and service requirements, supporting consistent and high-quality account management outcomes.
Targeted Specialized Knowledge:
- Completion of Bachelor's Degree
- Prior general experience in general administrative roles focusing on account management, sales support and client services functions
- Fluency in English essential to communicate in writing and speaking.
