FIRE EXPLORER PROGRAM Overview
The Fire Explorer Program, which is affiliated with the Boy Scouts of America, is for teenaged members of the community that are from age 14 to 19. Fire Explorers are given the opportunity to serve their community, through a safe, nurturing environment, where meaningful learning experiences are developed to establish positive character traits.

Exploring is based on five areas of emphasis: career opportunities, life skills, citizenship, character education and leadership experience. Emphasis is placed on safety, learning and opportunities for the participants.
Program Requirements
- Be age 14 to 19
- A GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred
- Attend monthly meetings and training sessions
- Pass a required medical examination after acceptance to the program
