Job Description

Job Summary

The Officer, Finance & Accounting plays a critical role in ensuring the financial integrity and operational efficiency of healthcare facilities. This position is responsible for managing financial transactions, maintaining accurate accounting records, and supporting budgetary processes to enhance resource allocation and financial sustainability. By providing timely financial insights and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, the role directly contributes to the organization’s mission of delivering high-quality healthcare services.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with organizational policies.
• Prepare and analyze financial reports, budgets, and forecasts to support strategic decision-making and resource optimization.
• Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations, tax laws, and internal controls, mitigating financial risks.
• Collaborate with department heads to monitor expenditures, identify cost-saving opportunities, and improve financial processes.
• Support audits by providing necessary documentation and ensuring adherence to audit requirements.

Qualifications
