Job Description

In a nutshell

As an Automation & RPA Engineer you will help transform and automate internal processes across our European IT organization. You will focus on process optimization, automation delivery, and future AI enablement.
 

Where will you be based and what business will you support?

Based in Barcelona, Spain; you will join a globally distributed team in support of our European Laboratory businesses. 

How can you help us?

you will:

• Identify and implement automation opportunities across IT and business processes
• Develop RPA workflows, scripts, and automations (e.g. Power Automate, Python, PowerShell)
• Automate repetitive activities such as:
  • Reporting & KPIs
  • Data handling & reconciliation
  • IT support processes
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand needs and deliver practical solutions
• Contribute to AI-driven initiatives (e.g. copilots, intelligent agents)
• Continuously improve and scale automation solutions

Qualifications

Are you our kind of extraordinary?

You have:

• ~2–6 years of experience in automation / RPA / scripting / process improvement
• Hands-on experience with tools such as:
  • Power Automate / RPA tools
  • Python, PowerShell or similar
• Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset
• Interest in AI and emerging technologies
• Good communication skills in English and ability to work in an international team

You are:

• Proactive, curious, and eager to learn new environments
• A fast learner.
• Self-motivated with a can-do attitude.

What else should I know? 

The following skills are an advantage:

• Experience with APIs or system integrations
• Exposure to Power Platform or low-code tools
• Basic data handling or database knowledge
• Background in Pharma operations.
