Citizens Health is looking for a CNA to work in our Long Term Care facility.

Palace Drug Store - our outpatient pharmacy

Days/Hours: This facility is staffed 365 days a years, 24 hours a day


Pay Range: Starting at $18.50 and dependent on experience.


CNAs report to RNs and the Director of Nursing.


What you’ll do:


  • Under the supervision and direction of an RN, assists professional nursing staff by performing basic patient care activities and related nonprofessional services in caring for the personal needs and comfort of the patients.
  • Attend to patient's personal care and needs, ie, foley care, bathing, hair washing, clean linens, mouth care, back rubs, etc., and document as appropriate.
  • Assist nursing personnel in treating, lifting, turning, and positioning, feeding, ambulating, and weighing patients.
  • Assist in the maintenance of a safe, comfortable, and therapeutic environment. 
  • Assist with departments cleaning activities.
  • Communicate in a timely and accurate manner with staff, patients/family, physicians, and other ancillary personnel.
  • Assist with other tasks as requested.


What you bring to the table:


  • Current CNA certification.
  • Current C.P.R. certification or willing to obtain within 30 days of hire.
  • Ability to deal understandingly and tactfully in a professional manner with ill geriatric residents and their families. 
  • Ability to maintain good working relationship with personnel in other departments.
