Job Description

We are looking for outstanding people to join our team, and currently seek to incorporate mechanical & piping engineers for our Spanish team. In this role, you will join a well-structured team, working in close interaction with our global network

Qualifications

Below we explain the main skills that we look for in our Mechanical & Piping Engineers in the Industry division. You do not need to tick all the boxes, we are looking for great people with a diverse background to strengthen our engineering team:

Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering  or a related discipline.

Proven hands-on experience of approximately 5 to 10 years in:

  • Developing 3D models for plant engineering focusing on equipment and piping (E3D or PDMS)
  • Industrial processes, preferably Pulp & Paper industry
  • Engineering activities such as design, calculations, project execution, or technical consulting

Strong technical and analytical skills. You will be involved in engineering design and calculations, so we are looking for candidates with the ability to:

  • Study and resolution of layouts
  • Piping routes studies, isometric drawing and associated supports
  • Preparation of BOM and RFQs
  • Knowledge in ACAD and MS Office
  • Interpret P&IDs, PFDs, and piping layouts
  • Work with engineering tools (e.g. Excel, CAESAR II, AutoCAD, E3D, or similar)
  • Apply structured problem-solving and attention to detail in complex technical environments

Teamwork and coordination skills. You will work in multidisciplinary teams and collaborate closely with other engineering disciplines. This includes:

  • Planning and coordinating tasks within the project
  • Supporting team members and sharing knowledge
  • Ensuring deliverables meet quality, timeline, and client expectations

Fluency in Spanish and English. You will work in international environments and collaborate daily with global teams, requiring effective communication in both languages.

Strong communication and documentation skills. A key part of the role involves:

  • Preparing clear technical reports, calculations, and specifications
  • Developing structured documentation (e.g. datasheets, technical queries, design basis)
  • Communicating technical concepts clearly to clients and internal teams

Proactivity and accountability. You will work in a dynamic project environment with deadlines so you will need to be able to think for yourself, be proactive and have a business-oriented mindset.
