Job Description

  • Configuring Azure Networking (VNETs, NSGs, Load Balancers)
  • Handling Azure Storage (Blob Storage, File Shares, Managed Disks)
  • Managing cloud databases: Azure SQL, CosmosDB, PostgreSQL
  • Configuring role‑based access control (RBAC) & Azure AD permissions
  • Using Azure Monitor, Application Insights and Log Analytics to track system health and performance
  • Investigating and resolving performance issues or system outages
  • Deploying and Managing Azure Virtual Machines (VMs)
  • Monitoring and administrating Microsoft Azure infrastructure (Virtual Servers, Databases, IoT Hubs & Devices)
  • Managing datacenters and physical servers’ configuration
  • Providing 2nd and 3rd Level support, including on‑Call coverage for Level 3 incidents
  • Administrator over 3 vCenters (6.5, 6.7 and 8) and managing virtual environments.
  • Installing and administrating over 50 ESXi servers
  • Installation and administration of over 400 Virtual Machines
  • Installing, configuring and maintaining Microsoft SQL Server 2012 & 2019.
  • Creating, configuring, backing up and restoring databases
  • Monitoring servers, storages and network equipment worldwide using Nagios Check MK.
  • Managing inventory using OCS Inventory and GLPI
  • Installing and configuring various server roles (Domain Controllers, File & Print, Backup and Application Servers)
  • Administering remote server management via RSA or iDRAC cards
  • Installing and configuring DELL SAN / DAS / NAS storage solutions
  • Administrating Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and WSUS
  • Managing backup solutions using Commvault Simpana
  • Working with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow, EasyVista or equivalent

Qualifications

  • Experience in configuring and administering Microsoft Azure infrastructures, including Azure Networking (VNETs, NSGs, Load Balancers), Azure Storage, and cloud databases
  • Strong knowledge in administering on‑premise infrastructures and data centers, including physical servers, SAN/DAS/NAS storage solutions, and network equipment
  • Proven experience with VMware virtualization platforms (managing vCenter 6.5 / 6.7 / 8 and installing/maintaining ESXi)
  • Skills in installing, configuring, and administering Windows Server systems and related services: Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, WSUS
  • Database administration abilities (Microsoft SQL Server, Azure SQL, PostgreSQL, CosmosDB): creation, configuration, backup & restore
  • Experience in monitoring complex infrastructures using Nagios Check MK, as well as managing inventory through OCS Inventory and GLPI
  • Ability to provide 2nd and 3rd Level technical support, including participation in On‑Call rotations
  • Capability to create operational procedures, workflows, and technical documentation for support teams
  • Experience using ticketing tools (ServiceNow, EasyVista or similar)
