Job Description
We are looking to build a Production Support team as part of the Operations department specializing in mainframe support. We are looking for people with a focus on enhancing core skills sets, developing new ones and sharing knowledge with other colleagues. To work following ITIL methodology is part of the daily basis in all the areas.
The IT Operations / Production Engineer for the Z OPS team will be using the company procedures and processes defined by Paris dedicated OPS teams, so a strong relationship is also to be built between Z OPS teams and dedicated business lines’ teams.
Responsibilities:
- Execute requested actions based on defined procedures and processes:
- Deploying components and release management
- Update, deploy and run Batch scheduling assets
- Control & report about global Mainframe process (including files processing)
- Coordinate the above actions with other OPS teams & worldwide application development teams
- Contribute to the knowledge transfer with OPS teams
- Contribute to the definition of procedures and processes necessary for the team
- Help build team spirit and integrate into the company’s culture
- Contribute to the regular activity reporting and KPI calculation
- Contribute to continuous improvement actions

Qualifications
- Knowledge of Mainframe Z technology
- General IT infrastructure knowledge
- Knowledge and experience with:
- CA7/OPC
- CICS / IMS
- DB2
- Familiarity with Endeavor / Changeman / eGen
- Familiarity with middleware such as MQseries, CFT
- Familiarity with specific languages & technologies: Rexx, ISPF Macro & Clists
- Good written and spoken English is a must; French is a plus.
