Job Description
We are seeking a strategic and relationship-driven Public Relations Manager to lead the execution of PR initiatives that elevate brand awareness, drive demand, and support revenue generation. Working under the leadership of the Regional Director of Public Relations and the resort’s Director of Sales & Marketing, this role serves as a professional and exemplary brand ambassador, bringing the property’s stories to life through impactful media, influencer, and content-driven opportunities.Â

What You’ll Be Doing :
PR Strategy & ExecutionÂ
- Lead the execution of aligned PR strategies, working in partnership with the Regional Director of PR and the Director of Sales & Marketing to support brand positioning and revenue goals. Â
- Identify and execute strategic media, influencer, and partnership opportunities that elevate the resort’s visibility across key marketsÂ
- Leverage existing media relationships while cultivating new contacts within Canadian, US, and international travel and lifestyle networksÂ
- Attend key media marketplaces and industry events as requiredÂ
Media & Influencer RelationsÂ
- Coordinate individual and group travel media familiarization tripsÂ
- Host key travel media and influencers on property, including evenings and weekends as requiredÂ
- Â Oversee influencer collaborations, including vetting, setting KPIs, and managing follow-up in alignment with resort objectivesÂ
- Support content creator collaborations in partnership with the Marketing team to ensure cohesive storytellingÂ
Content, Storytelling & AmplificationÂ
- Develop and distribute press releases, story pitches, and media materials aligned with the resort’s repositioning strategy and evolving brand narrative Â
- Provide PR amplification for on-property activations, culinary programming, and seasonal campaignsÂ
- Support internal communications and storytelling initiatives as requiredÂ
- Update and maintain the resort press kit, pressroom, and story starters, ensuring alignment with corporate and agency partnersÂ
Brand Reputation & Crisis CommunicationsÂ
- Act as a spokesperson for the resort and as a key member of the crisis management teamÂ
- Manage media inquiries and interview requests, including development of key messaging and spokesperson preparationÂ
- Monitor and support online reputation management in alignment with brand standardsÂ
Coordination, Reporting & AlignmentÂ
- Coordinate on-site photo and film shoots in collaboration with Marketing and external partnersÂ
- Collaborate with the regional PR team to maintain an up-to-date centralized media databaseÂ
- Maintain and update the regional media calendar on a weekly basisÂ
- Prepare monthly, mid-year, and annual PR reports for the executive team and corporate officeÂ
- Pursue key industry awards and execute nominations aligned with brand strategyÂ
- Support additional initiatives as required in coordination with the Director of Sales & MarketingÂ

Qualifications
- 3-5 years’ public relations and communications experience in the luxury hotel sector preferredÂ
- Established database of Canadian, USA and international travel media & influencer contactsÂ
- Strong written communication skillsÂ
- Crisis communications and online reputation management experience requiredÂ
- Experience utilizing CisionOne or other media monitoring and distribution platforms Â
- Builds strong partnerships across the business in order to collaborate effectivelyÂ
- Acts as a positive ambassador for team and corporate culture, fostering collaboration, trust, and mutual respectÂ
- Experience with influencer analysis tools, like KlearÂ
- Ability to prioritize numerous projects with competing deadlinesÂ
- Articulate, professional, and mature; a self-motivated, energetic, and collaborative team-playerÂ
- Highly responsible, reliable, and accountable, with strong attention to detailÂ
- University/College degree in a related discipline an assetÂ
Additional Information
Visa Requirements: Must be legally eligible to work in Canada. The hotel is unable to assist candidates in obtaining Canadian work authorization.
