Job Description
Membership Strategy & Community Development
- Develop and execute a comprehensive membership strategy designed to attract, engage, and retain a cultivated and exclusive member base.
- Oversee the discreet application, approval, onboarding, and renewal processes, ensuring consistency with brand values and community standards.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with members, acting as a visible and trusted presence within the club.
- Define member benefits, access privileges, and engagement initiatives that reinforce exclusivity while driving long-term loyalty.
- Monitor membership performance, engagement levels, and retention metrics, using insights to refine strategy and offerings.
- Collaborate with Marketing and Brand teams to ensure membership positioning is consistently reflected across communication and programming.
Cultural Programming & Entertainment
- Define and implement a cultural and entertainment strategy aligned with the club’s identity, target audience, and business goals.
- Curate a distinctive calendar of music-led events, cultural activations, and member-focused experiences that enhance relevance and traffic.
- Source, negotiate, and manage relationships with artists, DJs, performers, cultural partners, and event vendors.
- Ensure programming reflects both local cultural context and international influences, maintaining a strong point of view.
- Analyze attendance, feedback, and market trends to continuously refine programming and maximize impact.
Experience, Operations & Collaboration
- Work closely with Operations, F&B, Security, and Guest Relations teams to ensure seamless execution of events and daily member experience.
- Oversee guest and member access dynamics in collaboration with door and host teams, preserving the desired atmosphere and crowd composition.
- Ensure all membership and cultural activities comply with safety regulations, licensing requirements, and brand standards.
- Manage allocated budgets for membership initiatives and cultural programming, ensuring cost control and return on investment.
Leadership & Team Management
- Recruit, train, and lead membership and programming-related team members, fostering a culture of excellence, discretion, and hospitality.
- Provide clear direction, performance feedback, and ongoing development to ensure consistent service standards.
- We recognize we are in the hospitality industry and that may require us to provide lateral service.
- We will on occasion call for each individual in the team to do on a routine basis perform various related tasks as needed in the spirit of providing exceptional guest service.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, to provide clear direction to the venue teams.
- Communicate with team members using a positive and clear speaking voice, listen to and understand requests, respond with appropriate actions and provide accurate information.
- Remain calm and alert, especially during emergency situations.
- Make decisions and take actions based on previous experience and good judgment, sometimes revising procedures to accommodate unusual situations.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business, Marketing, Event Management, Arts, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a senior role within private members’ clubs, luxury hospitality, lifestyle venues, or cultural programming environments.
- Deep understanding of the Mumbai hospitality, cultural, and entertainment landscape, combined with strong international exposure to leading global cities and lifestyle scenes.
