Thrift Store Manager – Hastings
Crossroads Mission Avenue is a local non-profit whose primary mission is to offer shelter to the homeless. Our Mission statement is bringing glory to God through the helping of people! Our Mission Avenue Thrift stores serve a vital role in our ministry. Crossroads Mission Avenue Thrift is currently seeking a motived, organized and compassionate individual to fill the full-time position of Thrift Store Manager for our store in Hastings.
The responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Ability to communicate effectively and record information accurately.
- Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to diffuse conflict, maintain composure, and always treat Crossroads’ guests and customers with dignity and respect.
- Oversee all sales floor and stock room operations.
- Supervise staff and volunteers.
- Assist all customers and potential customers in a Christ-like manner.
- Monitor that all donations are sorted in a timely manner and inventoried as in-kind donations or recycled in our recycling program.
- Present a positive and compassionate willingness to assist guests, customers, donors and employees.
The pay rate for this full-time position is $18 per hour with benefits.
