Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled BIM cum CAD Technician to support engineering and design teams in preparing accurate 2D drawings and 3D BIM models. The candidate will be responsible for developing, coordinating, and updating drawings/models in line with project specifications and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed 2D drawings using CAD software.

• Develop and maintain 3D BIM models as per project requirements.

• Coordinate with engineers, architects, and other disciplines for model integration and clash detection.

• Update drawings/models based on design revisions and client feedback.

• Ensure compliance with project standards, codes, and company guidelines.

• Extract quantities, schedules, and reports from BIM models.

• Maintain proper documentation and version control of drawings.

• Assist in resolving technical design issues.

• Support project teams during design development and execution stages.

  Software Proficiency:

• AutoCAD

• Revit (Architecture / Structure / MEP as applicable)

• Navisworks (preferred)

• MS Office

Key Skills:

• Good knowledge of BIM workflows and coordination.

• Strong drafting and detailing skills.

• Attention to detail and accuracy.

• Ability to work under deadlines.

• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

Dip/B tech in Civil Engineering with basic knowledge of BIM
