Job Description

Position Overview:

As an Associate in Dry Utilities within our Infrastructure team, you will support project delivery, contribute to technical excellence, and assist in maintaining client relationships.  You will collaborate with project teams, mentor junior engineers, and ensure successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage Dry utilities team.
  • Contribute to the strategic planning and development of the Infrastructure division, including identifying new business opportunities and improving technical processes.
  • Support the maintenance of client relationships by addressing queries and providing technical assistance as required.
  • Lead and oversee Infrastructure projects from inception to completion, ensuring technical accuracy, quality, and adherence to project timelines.
  • Prepare technical specifications, drawings, and documentation under the guidance of more senior team members.
  • Participate in technical and quality reviews of projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project requirements.
  • Work closely with a team of engineers and technicians, contributing to a collaborative and productive work environment.
  • Participate in the team’s Performance and Development Review process, seeking opportunities for professional growth and development.
  • Conduct comprehensive technical and quality reviews of projects, identifying and addressing potential issues.
  • Assist in preparing technical proposals and bid submissions
  • Support resource planning activities to ensure effective utilization of team members and project resources.
  • Drive innovation and continuous improvement within the Infrastructure team, staying abreast of industry trends and advancements.
  • Provide regular reports on project status, technical performance, and team development to senior management.

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related engineering field.
  • Professional Engineering (PE) license or equivalent certification (preferred).
  • Minimum of 12 years of relevant experience in Dry Utilities with a proven track record of leading complex projects.
  • Extensive experience in design of Dry Utilities including HV, MV, LV, Street Lighting, Landscape Lighting, Substation and Pump Station Design.
  • BIM experience is required.
  • Knowledge of clash resolution of utilities modeling software like Navisworks, Bentley Navigator, Autodesk Civil 3D.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to mentor and develop junior team members.
  • Excellent client relationship management skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional service.
  • In-depth knowledge of industry standards, codes, and regulations.
  • Strong financial acumen and experience managing project budgets and resources.
  • Strong technical skills with the ability to prepare detailed technical specifications and documentation.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team and lead large-scale projects.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and professional development.
