About the Role

We’re hiring a Frontend Engineer to shape how customers interact with Concourse’s AI agents.

Your mission is to turn complex financial data and AI workflows into intuitive, fast, and delightful product experiences. You’ll build the interfaces through which finance teams explore insights, run analyses, and understand their business, and your work will define how our customers experience the power of Concourse.

You’ll work across React, TypeScript, and our design system to ship high-quality UI quickly. As an early engineer, you’ll help define frontend architecture, product patterns, and the standards for speed, polish, and craftsmanship. You’ll work directly with founders, engineering, and customers to iterate rapidly and create a world-class product surface.

This role is ideal for someone who obsesses over UI quality, loves building beautiful interfaces, and wants to play a foundational role in shaping a category-defining product.

Key Responsibilities

  • Craft Exceptional Interfaces: Build pixel-perfect UIs with a meticulous attention to detail and a high bar for user experience.

  • Own Frontend Architecture: Develop with advanced TypeScript patterns, type-safe architectures, and clean, scalable React structure.

  • Use Modern Frontend Tools: Work with Next.js, React Query, Zustand, Zod, and other modern frameworks to build fast, reliable product surfaces.

  • Ship Quickly with High Quality: Move fast while maintaining performance, accessibility, and frontend best practices.

  • Collaborate Closely with Customers: Engage directly with customers and users to understand feedback and translate insights into product improvements.

  • Own Projects End-to-End: Take full ownership of features and projects, driving them from concept to launch with a high-ownership mentality.

About You

  • 3+ years building production React applications with a strong track record of shipping polished interfaces quickly

  • Exceptional eye for detail, you care deeply about pixel-perfection, usability, and crafted UI

  • Strong TypeScript skills and comfort with modern React tooling (hooks, state management, query layers, etc.)

  • Self-directed builder who thrives in fast-paced, ambiguous environments with high ownership

  • Excellent problem solver who enjoys breaking down complex workflows and turning them into intuitive product experiences

  • Strong communicator who can work closely with engineering, design, GTM, and customers

  • Experience with AI or enterprise SaaS (preferred but not required)

  • Experience with full-stack or Node.js development (preferred but not required)
