Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented BIM Coordinator - Structures to join our innovative team in Bengaluru, India. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes for structural engineering projects, ensuring efficient and accurate 3D model development and integration.

• Lead and coordinate BIM processes for complex structural engineering projects
• Implement and maintain robust quality control systems for BIM deliverables
• Supervise and manage a team of BIM professionals, fostering a collaborative work environment
• Review and validate the work of CAD/BIM delivery teams to ensure accuracy and compliance with project standards
• Participate in cross-functional coordination meetings to resolve design conflicts and optimize project outcomes
• Contribute to the development and improvement of company-wide BIM systems and procedures
• Ensure adherence to health & safety, quality, and training policies within the BIM team
• Coordinate closely with other disciplines, including Architecture, MEP, and Façade teams
• Establish and maintain efficient job drawing filing systems
• Guarantee compliance with industry and company-specific BIM/CAD standards
• Provide technical guidance and support to team members on BIM software and best practices
• Stay updated on the latest BIM technologies and methodologies, implementing innovative solutions to enhance project efficiency

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or related field
• Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in Structural Engineering Modeling and Detailing
• Extensive knowledge of Structural Concrete & Structural Steel Modeling & Detailing
• Advanced proficiency in 3D modeling and review tools, including Revit Structures, Tekla, AutoCAD, and Navisworks
• Strong understanding of BIM standards, protocols, and industry best practices
• Proven experience in project management and team leadership
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams
• Analytical mindset with a keen eye for detail and problem-solving abilities
• Experience in implementing and maintaining quality control systems for BIM projects
• Familiarity with BIM execution plans, LOIN Matrix, MIDP, and other relevant BIM documentation
• Knowledge of high-rise building systems and mixed-use building structures
• Ability to read and interpret multi-disciplinary drawings and coordinate effectively
• Experience in setting up projects according to client and industry requirements
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and project management tools
• Knowledge of Dynamo and Python programming is a plus
• Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with emerging BIM technologies
