Our sales reps are responsible for delivering outstanding customer service and driving revenue growth by leveraging expert product knowledge, collaborating
effectively across departments, and proactively identifying sales opportunities!
 

 

There's a lot to learn in the packaging industry, and we do not expect anyone to know it all from the start. You will receive on the job training where we will dive deep into product knowledge, navigating our ERP, and mastering all communication channels.

Hourly non-exempt position

Hours: 8:30 am-5:00 pm Monday through Friday 

Job location: In office, Queensbury, NY

Job responsibilities include but are not limited to: 

  • Re-engage with previous customers to reestablish their business. 
  • Review and manage old accounts, follow up on leads, quotes, and web orders. 
  • Analyze website orders to identify and capitalize on sales opportunities.  
  • Utilize phone and email communications to connect with new, existing, and prospective customers. 
  • Actively seek out potential leads and build new customer relationships. 
  • Process customer returns. 
  • Cross-selling/informing customers of current promotions. 
  • Coordinate the transition of customers to appropriate sales representatives as directed by sales manage 
  • Ensure the completion of internal processes to facilitate the timely shipment of orders. 
  • Coordinate, schedule, and lead appointments for customers visiting the facility. 
  • Input orders. 
  • Address customer complaints promptly, providing suitable solutions and alternatives. 
  • Assist the customer service team with workload as needed. 
  • Work diligently on special projects when assigned by management. 
  • Collaborate with sales managers and upper management to develop and execute sales strategies. 
  • Other duties as assigned. 

 

Requirements: 

  • Expert with CRM/ERP system practices 
  • Ability to adapt/respond to diverse types of inquiries and personalities. 
  • Computer skills. 
  • Proficient in Microsoft.
