Position Details  

  • Type: Salaried, Exempt  
  • Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM  
  • Location: On-site, Queensbury, NY 
  • Salary Range:  $65K-$77k/yr 

 

Key Responsibilities (including, but not limited to):  

  • Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations and supervise warehouse associates  
  • Address performance issues and administer disciplinary actions when necessary  
  • Receive and inspect incoming shipments in accordance with established procedures  
  • Coordinate and organize inventory transfers  
  • Review, organize, and verify outgoing shipments for accuracy  
  • Prepare and process small packages, LTL shipments, and FTL shipments, including packing, palletizing, and system entry  
  • Maintain accurate inventory through cycle counts and regular audits  
  • Ensure a safe, clean, and organized warehouse environment  
  • Assist customers with loading as needed  
  • Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments with internal teams  
  • Enter and manage work orders within internal systems  
  • Perform quality control checks as needed  
  • Conduct team meetings and communicate operational updates  
  • Approve time sheets, manage time-off requests, and track attendance  
  • Respond to emails and internal communications in a timely manner  
  • Perform other duties as assigned  

  

Qualifications  

  • High school diploma or equivalent required  
  • 1-2 years of warehouse management experience preferred  
  • Experience with freight and small package shipments preferred  
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a team and work collaboratively across departments  

  

Skills & Physical Requirements  

  • Basic computer skills, including data entry and familiarity with warehouse systems  
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills  
  • Dependable, reliable, and detail-oriented  
  • Strong situational judgement skills 
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 70 pounds occasionally  
  • Ability to stand and work on your feet for extended periods, up to 8 hours per day
