Team Lead Welding (m/f/d)

Anton Paar ShapeTec is a certified welding company, qualified according to international welding standards for applications in the aerospace and railway industries. In this demanding environment, you will take on a key role as Team Lead Welding within our sheet metal production. You will be responsible for a central production area, lead your team both technically and organizationally, and act as the main technical contact for all welding-related matters.

Job Description

• Lead and support assigned employees in the execution of their tasks, with a willingness to actively participate in operations
• Work independently based on technical drawings and work instructions
• Process high-quality housing components using various welding, grinding, and testing technologies
• Contribute ideas for improving efficiency and quality

Qualifications

• Solid welding-related education (apprenticeship/master craftsman/technical college) in metalworking, as well as qualification as Welding Supervisor (IWS) or International Welding Specialist/Engineer
• Several years of experience in precision sheet metal processing
• Welding certifications in accordance with EN ISO 9606-1 and EN ISO 9606-2
• Independent working style, strong quality awareness, and team orientation
• Assertiveness, organizational skills, and a high level of responsibility

This position is subject to the collective agreement for employees in the metal industry. Your actual salary depends on your experience and qualifications; for this position, it typically starts at €3,416 gross per month (excluding overtime).
