Job Description

• Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, gathering, analyzing, and translating business requirements into data-driven product solutions.
• Serve as Product Owner for two strategic data products, ensuring their continuous evolution, alignment with business objectives, and delivery of value.
• Manage and prioritize product backlogs, defining requirements and ensuring successful execution throughout the product lifecycle.
• Work with large-scale datasets, maintaining high standards of data quality, consistency, and governance across all stages of data processing.
• Drive both product management and technical delivery activities, with a strong focus on data extraction, validation, and analysis.
• Perform data exploration and querying activities using SQL and Dremio to support business and product needs.
• Consume and validate APIs using Postman, ensuring proper integration and data accessibility.
• Collaborate closely within an Agile Scrum environment, participating in 3-week sprint cycles and working alongside developers, Product Owners, and the Scrum Master.
• Facilitate communication between business units and technical teams, ensuring requirements are clearly understood and delivered according to quality, scalability, and compliance standards.
• Monitor product performance and support continuous improvement initiatives through data-driven decision-making.

Qualifications

Technical Skills & Experience

• Proven experience as a Data Product Owner or in a similar role focused on data products and business stakeholder management.
• Strong experience in requirements gathering, business analysis, and expectation management across multiple stakeholders.
• Hands-on experience with:
  • SQL
  • Dremio
  • API testing and querying using Postman
• Experience working with high-volume datasets and implementing data quality controls and governance practices.
• Solid understanding of Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum frameworks and sprint-based delivery models.
• Experience working in cross-functional development teams, collaborating with developers, Product Owners, and Scrum Masters.
• Strong ability to bridge business and technical teams, translating business needs into actionable product requirements.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.

Certifications

• Relevant certifications in Product Management, Agile/Scrum, Data Management, or related areas are considered a plus.
