Compensation varies by host company, but most apprentices earn $41,000–$52,000 annually, depending on skill level and the company’s financial capacity.

* Is there an upper age limit for apprenticeships?

None. Anyone aged 16 or over with the right to permanently live and work in New Zealand is allowed to undertake an apprenticeship.
