Do you enjoy bringing structure, clarity, and momentum to fast‑paced site environments where technical coordination really matters? At EDF, we believe careers work best when they reflect what motivates you most — because “Success is Personal”.

The Opportunity

As Operational Equipment Coordinator, you’ll be at the operational heart of equipment delivery on the Hinkley Point C project. Supporting site construction, testing, and commissioning activities, you’ll ensure that equipment‑related requests are prioritised, coordinated, and resolved effectively. Your work will directly protect schedule, quality, and safety outcomes while supporting the transition towards An Electric Britain.

EDF EPR Engineering UK delivers the design for nuclear island buildings, systems, and equipment for Hinkley Point C and similar projects. Working as part of an integrated team, EPR Engineering supports construction and commissioning while preparing design‑replication feasibility and related engineering activities.

This role is based at the HPC site, with a minimum expectation of three days per week working on site. You’ll be closely embedded with construction and engineering teams, maintaining day‑to‑day visibility of priorities while coordinating with UK and international back‑office teams.

Working within the JDO (Joint Design Office) Equipment discipline, you’ll broaden your experience in nuclear engineering operations, design change coordination, and performance management. You’ll take on meaningful responsibility, contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, and support the development of people, processes, and delivery capability across a high‑performing technical team driving progress towards An Electric Britain.

  • Liaising with contractors, suppliers, and multidisciplinary teams to resolve issues
