Job Description

We are constantly growing and are currently looking for an experienced and reliable HSE Manager to join our top qualified and knowledgeable team in our project in Kuwait.

The HSE Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of Health, Safety, and Environmental compliance within our oil and gas operations, ensuring alignment with Client's (KNPC) regulations and standards.

What you will need to do:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive health, safety, and environmental management systems in line with client’s requirements.
  • Lead and manage a team of HSE professionals, providing guidance, support, and training as necessary to ensure a culture of safety excellence.
  • Conduct regular inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify hazards, assess risks, and implement appropriate control measures.
  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure compliance with HSE regulations and standards throughout all phases of project execution.
  • Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, identifying root causes and implementing corrective and preventive actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Liaise with regulatory authorities, industry organizations, and stakeholders to stay updated on HSE-related regulations, standards, and best practices.
  • Prepare and submit reports, statistics, and documentation as required by the client and other regulatory bodies.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance HSE performance, efficiency, and effectiveness across the organization.
  • Promote a culture of safety awareness and accountability among employees, contractors, and subcontractors through training, communication, and engagement programs.

Qualifications

What you will need to have:

  • A four-year full- time degree in Bachelor of Science in Engineering/Bachelor of Technology Degree in Engineering (B.Tech)/ Bachelor of Engineering (BE)Science.
  • At least fifteen (15) years’ experience in the field of HSE/EPC Projects within the Oil & Gas sector/ refineries, petrochemicals, fertilizers or heavy chemicals.
  • Exposure to large- scale Oil & Gas and Marine Projects.
  • Excellent command (written and oral) of the English language (knowledge of Arabic will be beneficial).

  • Industrial Safety Diploma
  • NEBOSH International Diploma
  • Professional qualifications like CSP/ CMIOSH/ CRSP
  • Certified Auditors for ISO 9001/ ISO 45001/ ISO 14001
  • Certified training on QRA/HAZOP- HAZAN Studies
