Job Description

We are constantly growing and are currently looking for Planner to join a top qualified and knowledgeable team of Engineers in our Regional Office in New Cairo, Egypt.

What you will need to do:

• Participates in the preparation of Tender Schedule, Contract Baseline Schedule and/or Revised Schedules in co-ordination with the project team.
• Prepares the progress update monitoring sheets for the various project phases and disciplines to track work progress and allow performing periodic project schedule updates.
• Prepares and updates periodically the “Progress Performance Curves & “Key Performance Indicators” in coordination with the Project Controls team to monitor the project performance.
• Highlights to the project management about any deviation in the plan - “out of sequence”- and be able to implement the required corrective actions.
• Records the daily progress and prepares the site daily and weekly reports.
• Assists the Project Controls Manager in preparing monthly reports and project budgets and maintaining proper project planning records.
• Follow and implement the established Project Controls’ processes as well as Company’s policies and procedures.
• Assist in preparation of claims and variations.
• Perform any other related duties as assigned.

What you will need to have:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from reputable university (i.e. the American University in Cairo, the German University in Cairo, BUE, and the Arab Academy for Science & Maritime Transport)
• Very good command (written and oral) of the English language.
• Knowledge of construction planning techniques and Primavera P6.
• Knowledge of project controls and project management tools, as well as basic financial concepts.

•  Previous employment with leading EPC contractors is highly preferable.
