We’re looking for reliable and hardworking people to join our team as Traffic Control Person(s) (TCPs) in the Sackville, NB/Amherst, NS region. In this exciting role, you would be responsible for managing traffic through construction sites. If you enjoy being outside, working on your feet & have an interest in getting a foot in the door with construction, this is a fantastic opportunity for you! Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assist with placing signs, barricades, and traffic cones in work areas.
  
• Communicate with other TCPs in the workplace to regulate traffic safely.
• Responsible for the safe passage of vehicles, pedestrians, and cyclists through work areas.
• Adapt traffic control setups to support moving paving operations.
• Communicate any incidents or hazards to the Site Supervisor.
  
• Follow instructions given by Site Foreman, Site Supervisor, and Management.
  
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Reliable and punctual.
• Must be able to interpret both written and verbal instructions.
  
• Great communication skills and willing to work in a team environment.
• Able to work outside in all weather conditions, often working long days.
• Comfortable working near vehicle traffic and heavy equipment on construction sites.
• Required ability to lift up to 30 lbs and standing for long periods of time.
• Valid TCP Certification an asset.
• Valid Class 5 License an asset.
