Your Responsibilities
General Duties:
- Promote equality and inclusion within a diverse classroom environment
- Foster a safe, dynamic, and emotionally supportive learning space
- Inspire students with a passion for learning and personal growth
- Manage behavior fairly and consistently in line with our policies
- Use data-driven assessment to inform teaching and maximize student progress
- Collaborate with colleagues to deliver a creative and stimulating curriculum
- Build positive partnerships with parents and engage them in their child’s learning
Teaching and Learning:
- Deliver outstanding teaching that creates a calm, purposeful learning environment
- Collaborate with the Elementary team to enhance the curriculum and teaching spaces
- Meet the requirements of assessment and moderation to ensure high academic standards
Communication:
- Maintain positive professional relationships with colleagues, parents, and the community
- Attend and contribute to divisional meetings
- Keep parents informed about their child's progress and the Elementary curriculum
Professional Development:
- Set and pursue professional goals annually
- Actively participate in professional development, workshops, and conferences
- Stay current with developments in technology, pedagogy, and educational theory
What We’re Looking For
- A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree (teaching certificates preferred)
- International teaching experience or training is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of child development and Elementary-level curriculum
- Demonstrated respect for diversity in culture, religion, and Christian traditions
- Excellent communication skills in English and proficiency with G Suite tools
- Evidence of recent professional growth
