Job Title: Finance Lead
Department: Finance
Location: Warri
Directly Reports to: Senior Accountant - Payables and Inventory
Indirectly Reports to: Country Finance Manager.
Job Accountabilities
- Oversees the Accounts Payable processes for all Field operations and Manpower service providers
- Performs treasury functions such as payment requisitions and oversees the petty cash & cash advance processes for Field operations
- Monthly and annual accruals Management and review for Field operations and related activities
- Creditors ledger management
- Journals management, Open Item Managed Account allocations
- Liaison with internal & external stakeholders on finance-related matters
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Any other finance activities as assigned by manager.
Job Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably in the oil and gas industry.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and solve problems.
- Excellent financial skills using tools such as Excel.
- SUN System User preferred
- Proficient in financial accounting principles and practices.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex financial information to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Knowledge of the Nigerian oil and gas industry (a plus).
