What we offer:

  • Hourly pay for this position is to start at CAD25.75 /hr, plus overtime after 44 hours

Job Description

We are currently seeking a motivated individual to join our team in Wallaceburg, ON.  As a labourer you will play a vital role in our daily operations. This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals who enjoy hands-on work.

What you’re responsible for:

  • Receiving, sorting and organizing different types of non-ferrous metals
  • Weighing and tracking the material using the RECY system
  • Providing excellent customer service
  • Assisting with torch cutting when necessary
  • Preparing shipments and receiving equipment using a forklift
  • General maintenance in and around your work area

Qualifications

To join our team:

  • You have previous experience operating a forklift
  • You have previous experience in metal recycling or an industrial environment
  • You are comfortable working indoors/outdoors in all weather conditions
  • You are physical fit and able to perform repetitive lifting up to 50lbs
  • You are able to work well in a team and on your own
