Job Description

The Legal Delivery Team is the engine room of DBC Philippines. Providing scalable, quality conveyancing support and services to buyers and sellers across the retail residential market, the Legal Delivery team works across all states in Australia and includes a large team of operational specialists in the Philippines.

We are looking for an experienced Conveyancing Paralegal to manage files from start to finish and support clients throughout the conveyancing process. The role includes handling client enquiries, preparing documents, completing settlements, and liaising with internal teams and external parties.

The successful candidate will follow company procedures, maintain confidentiality and data protection standards, and deliver work with a high level of accuracy and quality. Strong knowledge of conveyancing systems and processes is required, along with the ability to support training and knowledge sharing when needed.

  • Ensure an excellent client experience in all communications
  • Gather and input confidential client information accurately
  • Coordinate with Australian lawyers for legal advice as needed
  • Draft accurate invoices for service fees
  • Maintain organized paper and electronic filing systems
  • Interpret documents and take necessary actions for completion
  • Follow policies to protect data and information confidentiality

With a completed Bachelor’s degree you will have:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in Australian conveyancing
  • A proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service
  • At least 2 years direct customer contact (written and phone based) experience working with AU, NZ, US or UK customers
  • Free of personal commitments like pursuing further studies, taking licensure exams, etc.
  • Ability to anticipate needs of team members and clients, and self initiative to meet those needs
  • Strong written and verbal skills for regular communications to various stakeholders, including team members and clients
  • Critical thinking skills and a proactive approach to problem solving
  • Efficient – able to handle multiple demands while remaining flexible and adaptable to change
  • Ability to act on strategies for solving problems and meeting objectives before being asked to do so
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Perseverance and commitment
  • Ability to work alone as well as part of a high performing team
  • Commercial awareness and desire to keep abreast of developments
  • Integrity, ethical and moral behaviour regarding client confidences and information, company confidentiality, and overall team interactions
  • Proficiency in Actionstep, PEXA and M365 applications 

WORKING LOCATION AND REQUIREMENTS

This role works mostly in a WORK-FROM-HOME SETUP and to be considered for this opportunity you must be able to demonstrate your home working environment is as follows:

  • conducive home office (free from noise and distraction)
  • main internet: wired internet of at least 50mbps
  • reliable back up internet: at least 10mbps speed
