Additional Compensation Details:

  • $24.00-25.00 per hour depending on experience
  • Potential 90-day performance-based raise
  • Yearly review with possibility of increase based on performance and tenure.

Job Description

Schedule Day position, 6-8am start time, includes Saturdays, holidays - Sundays Off with another day off during the week.

The Role

Receivers keep our warehouse moving by organizing incoming produce deliveries, working with vendors and drivers, operating equipment safely, upholding top food safety and quality standards in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (any combination of the following job duties):

Receiving Operations

  • Receive and inspect incoming products from delivery trucks, verifying product identity and quality standards with QC personnel.
  • Communicate with supervisory staff regarding any product concerns, quality issues, or discrepancies identified during offloading before entering inventory.
  • Offload products from trucks using sit-down or standup forklifts, electric pallet jacks.
  • Rotate and organize inventory according to warehouse.
  • Maintain accurate receiving documentation and ensure all products are properly logged into the inventory system.
  • Perform additional warehouse duties as assigned to support operational needs and business objectives.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of forklift operation experience
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally 
  • Ability to work in a refrigerated warehouse environment entire shift
  • Proficiency with warehouse inventory systems and RF scanners
  • Ability to identify produce quality and perform accurate counts with basic math skills
  • Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and multi-task with minimal supervision
  • Ability to work overtime when business demands require (seasonal peaks, vacation coverage, etc.)
  • Proficiency with computer programs, ig Outlook, TEAMS, AS400

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1-2 years Inventory control and or receiving experience
  • 1-2 years of produce distribution experience
  • Demonstrated ability to build cooperative relationships across departments
