Our Tax and Business Advisory division is a well-established team of nearly 500 trusted experts in tax and statutory accounting requirements across New Zealand. Our experienced people provide specialised financial guidance to businesses of all sizes and across many industries to streamline tax management and allow our clients to make enhanced, strategic decisions.  

Tax is often complex, and sometimes overwhelming for businesses. Your job is to help with pragmatic, commercial and solution-driven advice. Job Description

The impact you’ll make:

In joining our team, you will help our clients solve some of the most complex issues their businesses will ever face. You can do this by first understanding, and then staying up to date with current tax law. You’ll build your commercial, industry and technical knowledge, using it to consult with clients and deliver practical advice.  We have a number of specialist tax teams who have expertise in areas such as corporate tax, international tax, indirect tax, transfer pricing, merger and acquisition tax issues, customs and excise duty, and research and development tax credits.

Qualifications

Your expertise:

Bring your analytical mindset, keen eye for detail and passion for tax to see what impact you can make.

You’ll also have:

  • A Bachelor of Commerce degree majoring in Accounting/Tax/Commercial Law
  • Experience in professional services - ideally a CA Firm in New Zealand
  • Tax and/or accounting knowledge and be working towards or have completed your CA ANZ or Legal studies.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a desire to have client contact
  • Exceptional organisation skills enabling you to work across multiple client projects at one time
  • A desire to grow your career in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
