Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Data Lead for Customer Excellence to drive and expand Fusion’s capabilities across commercial data platforms, customer master data, and CRM ecosystems in the life sciences industry.

In this role, you will lead customer data and commercial platform initiatives, including solutions such as Veeva CRM, Veeva Network, and similar customer data management platforms, while guiding a global team of Fusion consultants delivering transformation programs.

You will work closely with commercial, data, and IT stakeholders to design scalable and compliant customer data solutions that enable better engagement with healthcare professionals and organizations across global markets.

What You Will Be Doing:

Practice Leadership

  • Lead and develop Fusion’s Customer Excellence data practice
  • Define and evolve service offerings covering commercial data platforms, CRM ecosystems, and customer master data
  • Build and mentor a global team of data and CRM consultants

Client Delivery

  • Lead customer data and CRM transformation programs across global life sciences organizations
  • Support initiatives involving Veeva CRM, Veeva Network, customer master data management, and related commercial platforms
  • Ensure solutions align with data governance, compliance, and regulatory requirements

Data & Solution Strategy

  • Define target operating models for customer data and commercial platforms
  • Design scalable data governance frameworks and master data lifecycle processes
  • Align commercial business needs with technology platforms and data architecture

Team Leadership

  • Manage and coordinate global project teams across multiple client engagements
  • Support capability development and recruitment within the Customer Excellence practice
  • Coach consultants and promote best practices across delivery teams

Business Development

  • Contribute to client proposals, solution design, and strategic pitches
  • Identify opportunities to expand commercial data and customer excellence programs
  • Support the growth of Fusion’s Data & Commercial Platforms portfolio

Qualifications

  • 8–12+ years of experience in data transformation, CRM, or master data management in life sciences
  • Strong experience with commercial platforms such as Veeva CRM, Veeva Network, or similar systems
  • Solid understanding of customer master data (HCP/HCO), commercial data ecosystems, and affiliate integrations
  • Experience defining data governance and master data operating models
  • Proven experience leading client engagements and global delivery teams
  • Strong stakeholder management skills across business, IT, and data organizations
  • Experience working in regulated environments such as pharma, biotech, or animal health
  • Excellent communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus
