Job Overview:

As an Assistant Automotive Service Advisor/Writer with Christian Brothers Automotive, you are the trusted professional our guests rely on for assistance with their vehicles. Your role is crucial in building lasting relationships, as you are the face they see every time they invest in their vehicle.

Assistant Service Advisors guide our guests through the entire repair process, keeping them informed about the status of their vehicles and ensuring their satisfaction before they leave our facility.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Support Service Advisors with daily operations and guest communication throughout the repair process
  • Greet guests promptly and professionally while delivering a hospitality-driven experience
  • Check guests in and out efficiently and accurately
  • Answer incoming phone calls and assist guests with scheduling appointments, vehicle updates, and general service information
  • Contact guests with vehicle status updates, repair progress, and completion notifications
  • Assist with vehicle drop-offs and pick-ups to ensure a smooth guest experience
  • Enter customer and vehicle information accurately into the management system
  • Help coordinate appointments and maintain an organized daily schedule
  • Assist with receiving and processing incoming and outgoing parts as needed
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional facility appearance
  • Provide safe shuttle service for guests using company vehicles when necessary
  • Assist with clerical and administrative tasks, including filing, accounts receivable, and paperwork
  • Work closely with the team to ensure exceptional guest service and efficient workflow
  • Serve as a positive ambassador for the company within the community
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Strong desire to build a long-term career in the automotive industry

  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Positive attitude with a willingness to do whatever it takes to serve guests exceptionally well
  • Hospitality mindset — we do not just repair vehicles; we create outstanding guest experiences
  • Ability to multitask, stay organized, and meet deadlines
  • Basic automotive knowledge preferred, but willing to train the right individual
  • Previous customer service experience preferred
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
  • Valid state driver’s license with acceptable driving record

Physical Requirements:

  • Being dependable and reliable for a position that is scheduled for Monday – Friday, 7am – 6pm
  • Being on your feet the majority of the workday (standing, walking, coordinating parts, etc.)
  • Occasionally lifting and carrying objects over 50 lbs.
  • Keeping a brisk work pace in a high-volume environment
