The Opportunity


We’re seeking a motivated Surveyor with a background in civil construction and/or engineering who is ready to jump-start their career with a company that has a long-standing history in BC roadbuilding. With a diverse fleet of equipment, a supportive team, and opportunities for professional growth, you’ll play a valuable role in projects that make a difference in communities across the province.


As a Surveyor, you’ll play a key role in supporting the layout and measurement of civil construction projects in the field. From staking and topographic surveys to as-builts and inspections, your work will ensure accuracy and precision across every phase of construction. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, thrives in hands-on environments


This role is based out of Kelowna, with the possibility of travel to out-of-town projects on a rotational schedule. If you are positive, people-oriented, and eager to grow in the civil construction industry, this could be the role for you!


Your Key Responsibilities


  • Perform a variety of survey tasks including topographic surveys, as-builts, and construction staking (slope, grade, road, and development).
  • Interpret engineered drawings and translate them into accurate field layouts.
  • Accurately measure and record field data with a high level of detail and precision.
  • Communicate daily with Supervisors and Project Managers to ensure alignment and clarity.
  • Compile and complete survey reports and documentation.
  • Maintain a strong focus on safety and follow all safe work practices.
  • Support general labour duties as needed to assist the project team.


Your Qualifications & Skills


  • Successfully completed or working towards a certification in Geomatics.
  • Have a strong work ethic and work well in a team environment.
  • Be willing to travel within the province for work.
  • Natural ability to solve problems, communicate clearly and effectively.
  • Be flexible and willing to work night shifts if required.
  • Enjoy working outdoors in a fast-paced and challenging environment.
  • Valid Canadian driver’s license with a clean driving abstract required.
  • Physically capable of walking on uneven terrain, climbing slopes, and carrying 20 kilograms.
