Job Description

We’re a leading Investor Services group offering end-to-end services in administration, accounting, reporting, regulatory and compliance needs of the investment sector worldwide.

We have a great opportunity for an experienced Client Accountant to join our Client Accounting Team in the Isle of Man.

What You'll Do - 

  • Prepare statutory financial statements and quarterly management accounts in line with applicable accounting standards and strict reporting deadlines.
  • Ensure full compliance with service standards, company policies, and established procedures.
  • Support the accounts team with ad‑hoc projects and assist Client Administrators on accounting and taxation matters.
  • Liaise effectively with auditors, property managers, and tax advisors as required.
  • Apply sound judgment to identify, escalate, and report significant issues to senior management.

Qualifications

  • Strong technical awareness of current accounting issues, AML requirements, and relevant regulations, with experience preparing accounts for various corporate structures.
  • Proven ability to work independently, proactively manage workload, and consistently meet strict reporting deadlines with high accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Skilled in identifying, resolving, and implementing practical solutions to client issues with a pragmatic and decisive approach.
  • Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills, demonstrating confidence in stakeholder interaction.
  • Professional qualification (ACA/ACCA) preferred or qualified by experience, with beneficial knowledge of commercial property accounting and working familiarity with systems such as 5series, Caseware, Sage, Word, and Excel.
