Job Description

Join our Paris team to develop your skills in Financial Management and Fund Administration, gain insight into Private Equity mechanisms, benefit from our unique CFO network in France within private equity firms, and accelerate your professional career at IQ-EQ.

Depending on your profile and experience, you will quickly progress within the role of managing private equity companies. IQ-EQ will train you in fund management professions, working with our client base of around 50 French asset management firms.

You will receive continuous support from IQ-EQ Directors and Managers who will mentor you. You will quickly become autonomous within a recognised team in the highly attractive private equity sector in France.

We are looking for finance professionals with 4 to 5 years of experience. Flexibility and agility to the needs of the nature of the work is essential – together with attention to details, meeting deadlines and delivery only high quality service.

Shift working may be needed to meet the needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor fund asset and liability flows, cash management, valuation checks, and performance calculations whilst overseeing accounting production and financial statement preparation
  • Manage investment vehicle flows in coordination with investment teams and stakeholders, including custodians, lawyers, and auditors
  • Administer investor relations activities, including reporting, capital calls, and supervision of regulatory filings and KYC-AML procedures
  • Provide financial controller support at client sites and assist during fundraising phases as required
  • Collaborate closely with clients and external partners (law firms, investment banks, fundraisers) to deliver high-quality service and meet project deadlines

Qualifications

  • IQ-EQ Fund Services is a human-sized team: operational and client-oriented, you value meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality service.
  • Operational English is required for successful integration into our assignments and within the IQ-EQ group.
  • Have had 4 to 5 years experience, with a Degree related to the field or and an accountancy certification like ACCA or ICAEW).
