Heartland Pet Hospital has been a staple in the community for over twenty-five years and has long-standing relationships with customers and their children.

From preventative to emergency care, Heartland Pet Hospital is determined to get to a solution without taking shortcuts. Our practice offers physical exams along with vaccines for dogs and cats. Our extensive in-house lab services allow us to perform high-quality diagnostic testing with electrocardiogram and digital radiology technology. We provide surgeries including but not limited to dental cleanings, tumor and mass removal, spaying and neutering, orthopedic procedures, declawing, and more. Our team understands that pet health goes beyond physical performance, therefore we provide behavioral and nutritional counseling.

Heartland Pet Hospital is located in the center of Bellevue, an urban suburb of Omaha, Nebraska. Named for its beautiful views, the town is known for being Nebraska’s oldest continual settlement since the Lewis and Clark Expedition. Enjoy these views from sunrise to sunset in the Fontenelle Forest Nature Center. The Willow Lakes Golf Course provides newcomers and veterans of the sport the opportunity to play on an 18-hole championship course. Bellevue is home to urban and historic shopping districts to enjoy whether you prefer keeping up with the latest styles or browsing antiques. Downtown Omaha is just 10 minutes up the highway where you will find the home of the world’s largest indoor desert (Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium), fantastic dining and live music scenes, NCAA and Olympic sport viewing opportunities, and more!

Qualifications

  • Must be an Active Veterinary Student from an AVMA Accredited Institution.
