Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced General Accountant to manage the daily accounting operations, maintain accurate financial records, and ensure compliance with applicable standards and regulations. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, experience with accounting software, and a thorough understanding of accounting principles.

Qualifications

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and update general ledger accounts.

• Record journal entries and reconcile bank statements.

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

• Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.

• Ensure compliance with local, state, and international accounting regulations.

• Manage accounts payable and receivable processes.

• Monitor and reconcile intercompany transactions.

• Prepare and submit VAT, Zakat, and other statutory reports.

• Coordinate with auditors for year-end audits and financial reviews.

• Support month-end and year-end close processes.
