Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard / Swimming & Lifeguard to join our team in Doha, Qatar. In this dual role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our facility and its patrons, with a particular focus on aquatic areas.
- Monitor and patrol the facility, including pool areas, to maintain a safe environment
- Perform lifeguarding duties, including surveillance of swimming areas and rescue operations when necessary
- Enforce facility rules and regulations to prevent accidents and maintain order
- Respond promptly to emergencies, providing first aid and CPR as needed
- Conduct regular safety checks of pool equipment and surrounding areas
- Assist in the implementation of emergency action plans
- Maintain accurate records of incidents, accidents, and rescue operations
- Interact professionally with guests, addressing their concerns and providing information
- Collaborate with team members to ensure comprehensive facility security
- Adapt to various weather conditions, including working in a hot climate
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid lifeguard certification
- Current CPR and First Aid certifications
- Security guard license or ability to obtain one
- Excellent swimming skills and physical fitness
- Proven experience in lifeguarding, security, or a combination of both preferred
- Strong knowledge of water safety and emergency response procedures
- Proficiency in surveillance techniques and security protocols
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm and make quick decisions in emergency situations
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
- Capability to work effectively in hot climate conditions
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus
