Job Description

About the Role:

Our esteemed client is pursuing a skilled and dedicated individual to fill the critical position of Structural Engineer. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of structural engineering principles and proficiency in English and literature. This role will primarily focus on providing remedial solutions for various projects in accordance with industry standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
 

• Interpret project briefs and assess structural integrity or general building practice.
• Conduct comprehensive structural and building compliance assessments.
• Develop remedial solutions and provide technical recommendations.
• Adhere to engineering standards and codes of practice.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project success.
• Prepare detailed reports and documentation in a timely manner.
• Review site inspection images, videos and recordings.
• Communicate effectively with team.

Qualifications

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or building consulting.
• Proficiency in English and literature.
• Strong knowledge of engineering standards and the National Construction Code.
• Demonstrated experience with AutoCad software and other relevant design tools.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in structural engineering.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
